Best Acceptance Speech Ever

No subtitles necessary.

Rube Goldberg machine ... oh yeah...

OK Go is a pretty derivative band (in my humble opinion.) I thought that the treadmill machine song was unbearable but the video was fun. The Rube Goldberg machine song is much better and fits nicely with these amazing visuals. Because...you know...the novelty of things will wear off ... eventually. (Ah, paraphrasing is fun.)

PS. The latest album is better than the previous ones, but still... the videos are so much betterER.

Blood Red Shoes

Light.It.Up.  And no, they are not White Stripe wannabes, you punk. But it does smell a little like teen spirit. Still awesome.

ДУХИ ЖО

Russians will appeciate.
Two giant billboards plastered all over LA.
Uno: KIMORA IS BACK! Which my russkies eyes consistently read "KIKIMORA"
But this is just a warm up
Dos: Kim Kardashian's ad for her fragrance.
Her trademark? Two Ks back to back.
How does is look? Like a giant Ж.
And Ж is what she's famous for.
Too perfect not to share.

Explanation to non Russian speakers:
Uno: KIKIMORA (КИКИМОРА) in Russian means something like a "female swamp thing", "female goblin" etc.  And the billboard is selling KIMORA as this super hot sexy thing. Dig the irony? (See, Alanis, it's not that hard.)
Dos: If you say or see Zhe (Ж) in Russian, the first thing that pops into Russian speaking head is "Zhopa" (Жопа) which means "Ass". So in Russia fragrance with the name alluding to "Ass" probably wouldn't sell well. It also stands for female bathroom, which is not that funny but will still hurt the sales.

PS. Notice the placement of the Ж symbol. Maybe her people know?
